GEORGE WORRELL STYLE, LLC is the creation of author and celebrity style expert George Worrell, who is a reoccurring Style Contributor for ABC, NBC and CBS News, and Martha Stewart Living XM (regionally and nationally).
Author of 'On the Other Side of Style: A Memoir', George is a much-sought after stylist
and event planner, and was named Uptown Magazine's Finest (2011) for his production
of grand and elegant events, such as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Dinner
for 6500 guests at the Washington Convention Center and District of Columbia Mayor Adrian Fenty’s Inaugural Gala.
George was recently interviewed by ABC’s Channel 7 News for ‘Styling the First Lady:
Michelle Obama’, and has hosted a number of WHUR Radio’s Style Segments. As an innovator and an entrepreneur, George has launched George Worrell Style LLC to empower residents to get the job they desire and identify and cultivate other leaders to make the District of Columbia a national hub for creative startups, entrepreneurs and job seekers.
This past year, George was a Master Instructor for Howard University’s Department of Theatre Arts’ Inaugural Summer Theatre Arts Intensive Program, and has facilitated his "A Fresh Start: Three Phases of Style” curriculum for students at Anacostia High School and juveniles with DC Incarcerated Youth program to inspire visionary youth who will be prepared for the changing workforce in Ward 8.
There's no stopping George in 2016, with securing guest panels/speaking engagement and presentations at many local & national outlets including Facon Magazine's (Launch to Mainstream Educational Series) and launching in April 2016 - The George Worrell Style App which will be used to engage and target those who are about to embark into the workplace. Also keep your eyes on the look out for an upcoming partnership with Paul Stuart on the launch and GWS's work study program; as well as other initiatives focused around "A Fresh Start: Three Phases of Style”
